Meet Dr Kate

I’m Dr Kate Hamlett, a GMC-registered doctor and senior ENT surgery registrar working across the North West of England. Since qualifying from the University of Nottingham in 2013, I have trained exclusively in ENT surgery since 2015, hold a Diploma in Medical Education, and have gained my Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons exams in ENT Surgery. In less than two years I will complete my NHS training and step into a consultant ENT surgeon post, with the intention to sub-specialise in paediatric airway and head and neck surgery, where millimetre-level precision in facial & neck anatomy is part of my every working day.

In postgraduate medicine I have maintained a commitment for excellence, completing a Masters in ENT surgery (with honours) and continue active involvement in NHS leadership, audits and research. I worked for a year as Chief Registrar in Surgery at Manchester Royal Infirmary where I gained a valuable insight into leadership and management. My training has also allowed me to gain broad experience in other surgery specialties including; maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, major trauma and neurosurgery.

My quest for surgical safety and these varied skills make me ideally placed to start a career in aesthetics. That same surgical eye I have for proportion, harmony and precise detail is what I now bring to my medical aesthetics practice.

My philosophy is simple: enhancement should never overshadow the person. It should quietly celebrate what is already there; your bone structure, expressions and unique beauty, just refined, refreshed and subtly elevated. Whether it’s softening lines that make you look tired, restoring volume that time has gently taken, or defining features with artistry and restraint, every treatment is planned and performed by me personally, using only premium, evidence-based FDA approved, CE-marked products and the advanced techniques I mastered through Derma Institute’s advanced injector training programme and other courses.
