Results last for most people between 3-4 months. Some movement may start to return sooner than this.

Treatment in most areas is painless, though a slight sting can be felt in more delicate areas of the face.

Results can start to take effect within 48 hours, but it may take up to 2 weeks for the full effects to be visible.

Most people usually have anti-wrinkle treatments every 3-4 months to maintain effects, though some may choose to wait longer.

Some people may experience localised bruising or temporary swelling.

Rare side effects include:

• Drooping eyebrow

• Drooping eyelid

• Headaches/flu symptoms

• Excessive tearing

• Drooling

You can treat the upper face, with most common sites for treatment being the glabellar (between eyebrows), forehead and crows feet.

Many aren’t aware of the other areas that can be treated including:

• Bunny lines - wrinkles either side of the bridge of the nose

• Smoker’s lines - lines around the mouth when pursing the lips

• DAOs - downturned corners of mouth (marionette lines)

• Upper lip flip - causes upper lip to roll up and outward, creating a fuller more natural lip volume without using filler

• Neck bands - thick muscular bands seen when tensing neck, when treated this can smooth the neck appearance and in some can create a ‘mini facelift’ appearance at the jawline
